In fragrance circles, there is little known or spoken of with regard to the history of S.T Dupont. Perhaps best known nowadays for their iconic pens and lighters, the French luxury house S.T Dupont was founded in 1872. It was only in 2003, the brand experienced somewhat of a revival where they sought to produce luxury items that stood at the crossroads between tradition and innovation. In a marriage between tradition and glamour, in 2006 S.T Dupont launched S.T Dupont Blanc - a feminine scent, packaged in a striking alabaster-white glass flacon carrying the faceted Diamond head motif.

Blanc opens with a wonderfully bright jet of tangerine and white nectarine which both feel summery and warm... its top notes flit over a richer floral heart of white blossoms... tuberose, lily-of-the-valley, orange blossom and white rose; all of which lend a sense of a summery walled english garden. These notes dance over a parched base of white amber, heliotrope and white musk. It is resolutely feminine and effervescent, and brimming with joyfulness.

Blanc is an above-average scent, with above-average persistence. I feel it is very fitting for daytime use or for evening excursions. It is as vivid and lively as the day itself: shimmery ponds prickling with light, and lush well-kept gardens brimming with beauty.

The store will also have iPads available for customers to read about fragrance notes and reviews.
