Launched in 2004 by Guerlain perfumer Béatrice Piquet, this "luminous woody" fragrance for men opens with lemon, bergamot, and grapefruit sparked by anise and jasmine, before warming into cacao, lavender, and tea over a base of patchouli, cedar, and Indian sandalwood, finished with musk, hibiscus seed, and elemi resin. It's built on contrast, crisp and citrusy up top, warm and sensual underneath, making it versatile enough for both daytime and evening wear.

This is my new go-to fall winter scent. It’s a compliment beast and lasts. Highly recommended!

This is a good scent, however, not for me. Unfortunately there's too much patchouli in the dry down for me. Up until that point I liked it a lot. If you don't mind patchouli it could be a winner for you.

An excellent Guerlain scent! You will receive compliments and inquiries as to what you are wearing. The EDP lasts longer, has more depth, and projects more strongly than the EDT formulation.
