GUERLAIN “IS” GUERLAIN! 

Just ordered my second bottle- This is the perfume of a classic classy woman- Lasting on my skin and clothes for hours, projects as all my Guerlains, but still my first love is Mon Guerlain- This one is a more concentrated version with a slight focus on more vanilla-

I just decided that I’m not going to buy the New Shalimar Millésime Rose flanker this year or the Shalimar L’Essence vanilla beauty either. Mon Guerlain Intense covers both of the notes of interest in each flanker that in my mind, I’m more than thrilled with the performance of the 2 Vanillas, rose and tonka’s etc in Mon Guerlain Intense that I purchased from FragranceNet last year! It’s such a lovely fragrance creation, wonderfully blended, a full complement of notes that leaves you feeling & smelling exquisitely beautiful! At first I was disappointed that the scent was not strong enough. But then hours later, a cozy fragrance bubble enveloped my skin. I received compliments at work. Mon Guerlain Intense also layers well with many other perfumes, from sweet cotton candy, strawberry, or more intense spicy, floral, or vanilla perfumes, or even other Guerlain perfumes such as Shalimar.

This perfume is incredible. I got 2 compliments the first few times wearing it and that usually never happens to me. It's very soft. I was scared the lavender would be too pronounced, but it just smells sweet and warm. The projection and lasting power are wonderful. The sprayer is really nice. Lovely bottle. I debated forever before buying. So glad I got it. New favorite!

Rose-Éclair.  

Mon Guerlain Intense EDP. The top notes of Lavender & citrus burst forth upon initial spray. As the middle notes of vanilla’s begin to peek in along with the Iris, they add a lovely soft and powdery essence to the blend. Jasmine and Rose are well represented and unapologetic. The top and middle notes swell with such beauty and intensity as I begin to notice a substantial sillage all around me. Sigh! The Iris is holding its own as the base notes come on the scene. Fragrant Benzoin and musk begins to bloom near by. Coumarin and licorice was not discernible to my nose. The Sandalwood is clean and bright and Soft Patchouli wafts ever so gently at this stage. As the notes dry down further, the Benzoin, musk, sandalwood and patchouli provide a softly, spicy base for the middle notes to bloom upon. Bliss! Mon Guerlain Intense is a fabulously Elegant and heightened fragrance experience. Better than I thought possible. Definitely for grown women (40+) that enjoy sophisticated scents. If you enjoy elegant scents, and don’t need candy sweet notes with gourmand, overbearing vanillas, this would be a fragrance to consider. I highly recommend Mon Guerlain Intense EDP and plan to buy more. Fabulously yours always, -Rose-Éclair.
