I have a ton of fragrances and have tried a lot over the years. I wanted to add a different scent to my collection and this works. It's not my favorite, but I do like it. It's different...kind of "lightly strong" at the start but after it settles...it's doable for me. Sorry this doesn't speak too much of how it smells. Some folks have said old lady in the past. I wouldn't say that. It's probably a 6.5/10. I won't get rid of it because as I said, it's different from other stuff I have & I like wearing something different everyday. I don't have a signature scent.

I have worn this fragrance since the late 1980s. I has become extremely difficult to get: the eau de parfum, the body shampoo, and the lotion. The fragranc just is not as potent as it once was. That is a shame because it was a classic! ❤️

I have loved Samsara fragrance since the first time I had the pleasure of smelling a sample of it. Strangers have often asked what fragrance I am wearing because they really like it. Unfortunately, the fragrance seems to change every time the packaging I have love Samsara since the first time I smelled it. Unfortunately, it seems like every time the packaging changes, so does the fragrance. I wish Guerlain would bite the bullet and return to the original formula. I realize ingredient prices increase so substitutions are often made, but I think that a great scent deserves the great components. Please don't cheapen the product's quality, people know a wonderful fragrance costs money and we will still buy it.

I have worn this for years, but it has changed. Not as fragrant as it used to be and doesn't last as long. I especially loved the body lotion but can't find it anymore. Please return to the old formula and make the lotion again.
