For lightweight leave in conditioner, dilute your favorite fabric softener with water. Keep in spray bottle. Mist hair after shampooing, smells great all day.

After you apply your lipstick use your index or whatever finger and put your finger in your mouth and put your lips around your finger and pull out your finger while your lips are firmly around finger. Wash your hands. Any excess that comes off won't end up on your teeth.

When you have build up of hair supplies on your scalp and hair, rinse your hair with straight vinegar. Then run your fingers through hair and gently massage your scalp that is in product overload. Leave on for five minutes, then rinse out. Next, shampoo your hair, rinsing well. Now you have super clean hair to wear everywhere! Happy Hair Days! Dianna

I tend to have a problem with hairspray buildup and I've never been able to find a good shampoo to get it all out. I was complaining to my hairdresser and she told me to do the following: Take 1 tablespoon of baking soda and mix with enough shampoo to make a paste. Rub it in wet hair and scrub. Rinse well and then take use a spray bottle and spray apple cider vinegar on your hair to close the cuticle of your hair. Leaves your hair squeaky clean every time! Also, if you have dry hair, you can make your own deep moisturizing treatment at home. I usually do it after I clarify. Take 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon honey and mix together. Put mixture in the microwave for 1 minute or less, just enough to loosen up the honey. Put it on wet hair and then cover your hair with a shower cap (or you can use plasticwrap). Put your hairdryer on hot and keep your hair warm for 10 minutes and then rinse. You'll have shiny, soft hair for a month!

since I like to wear so many different fragrances, I have found that the body creams and lotions are usually much cheaper, but I purchase them because you get the benefit of the good smelly, plus the moisturizing effects. Sometimes when my budget is really tight, I purchase some unscented lotion/cream from the drugstore, spray my perfume into it, shake, and voila! You have your good smell for a while longer and a moisturizer all in one.

If you want your scent to really stay with you all day long, may I suggest that you "layer" it, as in, the lotion, then your perfume, and then the perfumed powder. It really works. the scent you love is then deep, and lasting on your skin. Honest.

Eye Liner: When you apply eye liner and if it smears or if lined more thicker than your desire, take a Q-tip, either dab a little water on it and use the tip to erase excessive eye liner also for eye shadow. This tip has helped me numerous times especially when I am rushing to get dressed.

If you really like to wear any fragrance of your like and leave a lasting impression wherever you go, try spraying a little or in liquid form a dab in a wash cloth and toss it in the dryer with your clothes, linens, towels, etc. It is wonderful and not to strong, Just make sure it's only your clothes in the dryer, don't think your husband will like to wear the scent also!

To add fragrance to linens and clothes, I use my favorite scented votives. I leave the plastic wrapper on most of the candle, and open it only in a one or two places in order to protect clothes from the oil. When you pull something out of the drawers to wear, it has a lovely light fragrance, one that isn't heavy enough to interfere with your perfume, but enough to have a nice, fresh scent. This is also a neat trick in the linen closet between sheets and towels. Winter time I apply tiny drops of scented oils along door jams, under bannisters. It layers a pleasant scent, but isn't overpowering. It helps lift the mood when the intense fragrance of autumn has deserted us and we are left with the smell of granite, snow and evergreens.

Did you know that there is no moisturizer that is better for your skin than Vaseline? I started washing my face with Dove soap with moisturizer to clean my skin when I was 16 and I moisturized every day. I am 62 years old and still no wrinkles. Keep your skin moisturized and when you reach my age you will be so glad you did. Smooth pretty skin on your face is the best beauty care you can do. First step to staying beautiful.
