Opium has been my choice for 30 years. Why would you feel that it needed changing. This was a fatal mistake for YSL and I will not order or support this product going forward. This was know just by it's fragrance and you did not even have to tell them you were wearing Opium.

I am like the rest of the reviews. I have used Opium for 30 yrs, and this does even come close to the original. I am so disappointed. Belk does not even sell the original. It does not last, it does not smell the same, and I no longer get complements. The end!

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person disappointed in the "new" Opium. I have worn only this fragrance for about 25 years but will no longer order it. It comes out in a stream instead of a spray and the scent is not the same. Sorry, but you've lost a long time customer.

Hi, I have used OPIUM for over 30 years allways getting compliments from everyone as to how good I smell even at the end of a 12 hr shift!! In August I purchased the new OPIUM bottle and the fragrance professonal said that the scent has not changed only the bottle design! I strongly disagree as I get no compliments and find the bottle difficult to spray! I found this bottle on line which I have rarely shopped by and hope that it is what I long for back! Please bring the old bottle back which is very easy to hold and spray and fragrance as well! The old fragance was not detected by the wearer and apprieciated by the people around! Thanks!! MHK
