Opium Reviews
Introduced in 1995, Opium by Yves Saint Laurent is a men's fragrance that is tailor made for casual situations, from lunch with a friend to an evening at the pub. This cologne features a mix of ginger, cedar, vanilla and pepper that mix to create a fresh, lively scent with hints of basalm. Its unique combination of scents intriguingly complements your casual wear. No matter where you choose to take Opium, its intoxicating scent will ensure that you make an impression on those around you.
Review of Opium
Opium Spray Cologne for Men has been my favorite for the last 20 years. Harder to find now but I normally can get it here in 3.5 or 1.7 spray bottles. I use the smaller for travel and the big for home. Always get good comments on the smell even at the end of the day. I use it as an after shave and it lasts all day. Having trouble now finding the larger bottles. I would highly recommend it for most middle aged to older men.

Review of Opium
I have also used Opium for around 30 yrs, and I will never use this new Opium again. It does not have the same lasting scent, and I also never get remarks about it like the original. Why would you change this fragrance if there was nothing wrong with it. I even orderd from Belk dept store because it showed the old style, and when it came, it was this new junk.

Review of Opium
The "new" Opium has changed, the scent has changed as well. No longer my everyday choice selection, and continue to seek the "old" fragrance. The "new" opium has not ONCE been compliments.

Review of Opium
I agree with most of the recent reviews. The new atomizer is absolutely terrible. The scent does come out in stream rather than a spray and the part you push to get the spray spins around on top of that! I don't notice a big difference in the fragrance itself, however, so I'm not in agreement with that, Finally, with only $.16 between the retail price and the "online discount," it hardly pays to purchase this item as is. Yves St. Laurent should definitely re-think the atomizer and the packaging in general. I am re-thinking the purchase.

Review of Opium
I have worn Opium since the 70's, It was a stunning fragrance which I loved and men did too. The new Opium should not bear the same name, it is not Opium.....which is so very sad... I will no longer be able purchase "The Fragrance", which said it all. Can YSL PLEASE go back to the original and the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The original would rate more than 5 bottles>best now its less than 1. :(
