A beautiful vanilla, elegant and restrained. Reminds me somewhat of Lalique’s Le Parfum, but less busy. Love it.

This is the most inspiring vanilla fragrance I've ever smelled. For me, the opening verges on plastic-- the black liquorice note is bright, almost bitter smelling. After roughly ten minutes it settles into a beautiful, powdery warmth, avoiding the sticky sugar that clings to most vanilla gourmands. It is has minimal projection and is certainly an office-worthy choice if you need something that smells good, but doesn't leave a strong scent trail behind you.

I absolutely LOVE the scent of Serge Lutens in Bois Vanille! The sweet smoky vanilla coconut scent is uniquely delicious. The scent is not overpowering and lasts at least 6 hours on my skin. I purchased the smaller bottle as this was a blind buy based on the notes. I will definitely be re-purchasing the larger bottle as this has made it's way to my top 10 favorite fragrances. The price on FragranceNet can't be beat which is the cherry on top!
