The woody, sweet and oriental fragrance of Mon Parfum Gold is an alluring scent for women from the house of M. Micallef. Introduced in 2014, this perfume starts with hints from plum, tangerine, ylang-ylang and pink pepper. The heart is filled with notes from Tunisian orange blossom, tuberose and jasmine, while the base is evocative with notes from incense, amber, smoke, vanilla and musk.
Petticoats
This is my current favorite. It's elegant, unusual, and ultimately quite beautiful. The opening is very woody and stern, but in time it sweetens and takes on a spicy quality. I love ylang-ylang, and that is one of the most prominent notes. It makes me think of femme fatale classic perfumes, but it's not heavy; I have worn it a lot in the summer, but I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs in colder weather.
