Usher (born Usher Terry Raymond IV) released his first album in 1994, when he was just 15 years old, and within a few years he established himself as a major R & B star. He has racked up numerous Billboard and Grammy awards for his albums and hit singles, all of which showcase his polished, soulful vocal style and seductive lyrics. In addition to his talent, his boyish good looks and sharp style sense have brought him a devoted fan base that follows his work from songs like “Nice & Slow” and “There Goes My Baby” to appearances on television, film, and stage. 

Usher is also involved in charity work and has proven himself as an entrepreneur: he owns a record label and co-owns a basketball team, and in 2007 he entered the beauty business with a successful fragrance line. The Usher collection includes the men’s fragrances Usher and UR, women’s versions of Usher and UR, and the women’s perfume VIP.
