Trina (Designer)
Critically acclaimed rapper Trina began her music career in 1998 with a guest appearance on a track by then-up-and-coming Miami artist Trick Daddy. The song became a hit single.
Not long after that, Trina established herself in the rap world with her platinum debut album in 2000 and its 2002 follow-up, "Diamond Princess." Her gold album "Glamorest Life" followed three years later, cementing Trina’s status with the hit single “Here We Go Again” featuring Kelly Rowland.
Expanding on her celebrity, Trina launched a fragrance line in 2005 with a debut scent that paid homage to her past work. Called "Diamond Princess," the captivating and feminine fragrance offered a dash of cashmere musk for a sophisticated aroma. The same year, Trina also released her third studio album; her album "Still da Baddest" followed in 2008. Her fragrance endeavors weren't finished, though. In 2011, Trina introduced her new feminine fragrance, Pink Diamond.
Outside of her musical talents, Trina lends her positive voice to philanthropic efforts as well. The artist and fragrance designer launched the Diamond Doll Foundation in 2006, a non-profit organization that helps young girls in difficult situations.
As of 2016, Trina has released five studio albums — her fifth titled "Amazin’." She has also worked with rappers such as Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg, and has been recognized honored with several awards and nominations, including accolades from BET, Billboard and The Source.
