Gwen Stefani Perfume
Gwen Stefani may have achieved fame in the 1990s as a pop star, but her distinctive look has also made her a style icon. The California native began performing as the frontwoman of the band No Doubt in the late 1980s. By the time No Doubt made its breakthrough with the album Tragic Kingdom in 1995, it had perfected its blend of punk, pop, and ska. Stefani performed lead vocals on hits like “Just a Girl” and “Don’t Speak,” and the band’s success continued for a decade. Stefani launched a solo career in 2004 with the album Love.Music.Angel.Baby and its single “Hollaback Girl.” After more solo work, she reunited with No Doubt for a tour in 2009 and a new album in 2012; she has also acted in film and has appeared as a judge on the television series “The Voice.” Stefani’s style is as eclectic as her music. Her fashion has always incorporated a mix of influences from punk, Southern Californian streetwear, Indian culture, Rastafarianism, and Hollywood glamour. Stefani was one of the first celebrities to launch her own fashion line with L.A.M.B. in 2003. Her debut perfume, L by L.A.M.B., was released in 2007. It was followed by a collection of trendy fragrances for younger customers, packaged in doll-like bottles inspired by Stefani’s back-up dancers, the Harajuku Girls. The four Harajuku Lovers scents have been offered in several limited editions with different “outfits,” including “Snow Bunnies” and “Sunshine Cuties.” One of the fragrances in this set, G, is designed to resemble a tiny version of Stefani herself.
