Animale Parfums Fragrances

People have long believed that wearing certain fragrances can bring out our “animal” instincts, so it only makes sense that there’s a perfume brand called Animale Parfums. Animale Parfums was founded in 1987 by Suzanne de Lyon, and its debut fragrance, Animale, captured late-1980s style with a bottle marked with a lightning-bolt design and a box design in shades of hot pink, cobalt blue, and turquoise. Magazine ads featured a female model wearing feline makeup on her face and body (as through she were a cast member in the ‘80s hit musical Cats), and the fragrance’s tagline was, “Unleash it!” Animale was followed by Animale for Men a few years later, and by several more fragrances throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including Instinct Animale for women and an Animale Animale for men and women. After de Lyon filed for bankruptcy in 1991, Animale Parfums was acquired by the Parlux Group. It later passed into the ownership of the Animale Group in 2004. Animale has continued to release new fragrances, including Animale Azul for men, Animale Love for women, and Animale Temptation for men and women.
