From the design house of Amouage comes the woody, warm and spicy fragrance of Opus XV – King Blue. This oriental woody fragrance for women and men was launched in 2023. At the start are notes from mandarin orange, pink pepper and black currant. The heart is filled with hints from amber and frankincense, while the base is fresh with hints from leather, oak, agarwood, patchouli and sandalwood.

True true true. First 30 minutes enjoy it yourself or with someone who’d appreciate the opening, I do, but I understand it’s not for everyone However the dry down is ridiculously rich, LONG, Jammy but not sweet if that makes any sense. Starts Arabian but ends French. It’s NOT an everyday perfume though, and you don’t need but one to two sprays MAX … which means a 3.4oz will last you 20 years.

Nobody talks about this scent too much but it’s a compliment magnet if you know how to use it. When the fecal scent goes away, there’s the dry down; and that’s when the magic begins. Money definitely worth spent.
