Excellent not the usual scent but the smell is nostalgic the woody cedar type smell is warm and relaxing screams fall and winter though for myself year round and does last through the day i would say great buy

Lovely smoky smell that is marvelous on me as my skin pulls everything sweet. Might not be a traditional feminine scent, but the number of times people come closer saying, “Mmm! What’s that you’re wearing?” surprised even me. If you love Matiere’s Encens Suave, Mancera’s Eternal Wood, Initio’s Oud for Greatness, or Killian’s Sacred Wood, you’ll probably like this.

Whoever came up with Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Incenso is undoubtedly a genius. A completely unusual, unique perfume. BUT! I don’t really understand who could wear it and on what occasion. The thing is that the smell is almost 100% identical to old, very old wood. I can hardly imagine a man who would want to smell like antique furniture, or an old suitcase with clothes forgotten in it for decades in a closet. This is exactly the smell of wooden structures inside a hundred-year-old house, which you can encounter during renovation. The smell of this perfume is so persistent that a hand with one! drop applied continues to smell even the next day, after repeated washing with soap. This smell destroys all other aromas around and fills the entire space with itself. I strongly recommend buying a sample before buying a large bottle!

Funkincense  

Pepper is very dominant in this one. Cold incense not strong. Dusty and peppery all the way through. Interesting. Nice bubble and trail. Deep dry down is the best part and last awhile. Glad I sampled. Not for me. I could see this being a nostalgic smell for some.
