D & G L'Imperatrice

Bright, effervescent, and an instant mood booster. Makes me think of a fizzy pink kiwi-watermelon cocktail at a sunny beach wedding in the spring. The taste of ripe fruit and the scent of elegant white flowers. Very agreeable and even office-safe, I can't imagine anyone taking issue with it. Youthful, delicate, and elegant without being loud or immature. It is unique in a sea of other fruity floral scents from the likes of Bath&Body Works or Victoria's Secret, which all seem to smell the same after the first 10 minutes. Imperatrice has a delightfully charming kiwi/watermelon swirl of energy that will make you want to dance. When I picture a woman who embodies this fragrance, she's a 25-year-old designer in a chic mauve dress with an asymmetric hem. Vivacious and confident in her unique style of charm. The only issue I have with it is that it's gone too soon. I feel the need to reapply after around 4 hours, but that might just be because I itch to be engulfed in its full magical aura again.
