By the Fireplace is a woody and interesting fragrance for women and men from the house of Maison Martin Margiela. The intriguing scent is created by Marie Salamagne and was launched in 2015. At the start of this charming scent are notes from orange blossom, pink pepper and clove. The notes of guaiac wood, juniper and chestnut is enthralling at the heart, while the base is filled with notes from peru balsam, cashmeran and vanilla.

I have found my forever fall/winter fragrance. Incredible projection and longevity. It's warm, comforting and just like sitting by a fireplace.
