The warm, woody and powdery scent of 1876 is a fascinating scent for women from the house of Histoires de Parfums. Introduced in 2001, this fragrance begins with notes from bergamot, litchi and orange at the beginning, followed by charming notes from iris, carnation, cinnamon, violet, caraway and rose, while the notes of guaiac wood, sandalwood, vanilla, vetiver and musk fills the base.

omg i loveeee!!! i’ve been looking for a scent that reminds me of walking in a really old flower garden and this is exactly that! it has the flowers in the top and middle notes and then dries down beautifully. almost like carrying a bouquet of roses in an old library—spicy but has that warm mess and lightness from the floral. i mix in with la belle by jpg and it is divine! highly recommend!!
