Y by designer Yves Saint Laurent is a true classic for everyday daytime wear that dates back to 1964. Since then, women have enjoyed its light floral flagrance with sweet honeysuckle and rose rising to the top notes as touches of oakmoss lend it a woody, sharp and slightly sweet body. Another highlight true to the decade of its birth is the scent of patchouli, which adds an infusion of East Asian incense to the bouquet.

I absolutely love Y, when I have been unable to afford it, I just could not find a substitute that I liked. Thanks Fragrancenet, for making my favourite fragrance affordable.

I have been wearing this perfume for over 25 years now. I love it! I starting wearing it in South Africa, then moved to America and had to buy it at airports on holidays and eventually found it on line..I was delighted.

After YSL made this wonderful fragrance unavailable in America, I definitely experienced a terrible time trying to find a suitable replacement. This was my signature for heavens sake! (I particularly loved..as did absolutely everyone else I encountered, the "Y" oil.) I was never as satisfied with any other perfume; except perhaps my Mom's original "White Shoulders"

I came into thi fragrence years ago and was unable to find it. I received so many compiments and a joke when asked what are you wearing I reply Y and they reply because I like to smell,
