Y by designer Yves Saint Laurent is a true classic for everyday daytime wear that dates back to 1964. Since then, women have enjoyed its light floral flagrance with sweet honeysuckle and rose rising to the top notes as touches of oakmoss lend it a woody, sharp and slightly sweet body. Another highlight true to the decade of its birth is the scent of patchouli, which adds an infusion of East Asian incense to the bouquet.

I discovered Y back in the early 80's. Later they stopped selling it in the stores. I was very happy to find it here at FrangranceNet. I love the scent and everyone is always asking "what is that scent that you're wearing". I love the expressions when I tell them Y.

I first smelled this wonderful scent when I was in my early teens and it has been a classic, even my daughter wears it. Elegant,and NOT an old lady fragrance,romatic. Pure female, if you dare.

Y by Yves Saint Laurent is my favorite - it was given to me as a gift 28 years ago and it has been my fragrance ever since... I love it - I get compliments everytime I wear it...

I have been wearing Y for 40 years. After stores discontinued it and before the WWW I went to unbelievable lengths to find it. I suffer from migraines and this is the ONLY perfume that does not bother my headaches.
