Review of Shalimar
I tried Shalimar and I really did not like it. Wanting to be fair, I tried it again...but it still reminds me of a bunch of old ladies sitting around playing cards in a retirement home. The only good thing about purchasing this perfume was that I gave it to an elderly neighbor lady who seemed thrilled to receive it, so my purchase wasn't a total waste.

Review of Shalimar
Whoever came up with this remarkable scent knew how to appeal to women of all ages. In my family it is now a 3rd generation scent. My mom, myself, my daughter, and probably her daughter at age 16 (which is when I was introduced to Shalimar) all wear this lovely scent. I keep experimenting with all the new and lovely fragrances, but this one remains a classic, and timeless. The combinations of exotic and warm, oriental and yet inviting is what makes it so lovely. And, it tends to remain "scentfull" no matter what your skin type or chemistry.

Absolutely do not care for this fragrance. It's very old-fashioned, not subtle, the scent just shouts all over you. My husband bought it for me and I could not bear to wear it!

Review of Shalimar
I have worn nothing but Shalimar since 1961. It is my "signature;" everyone I know identifies me with its exotic scent. Someone once told me it was THE perfume of the Jazz Age and that Zelda Fitzgerald wore it. That made me love it all the more. It is very sensual, erotic, and unique -- justlike me. My only disappointment is that they stopped making the bath salts, which I adored. Even in Paris, I couldn't get them.
