I have been using Shalimar for too many years to mention I had used Mary Chess Yram after using Shalimar for close to 30 years It is no longer produced as a fragrance so I havae been back to Shalimar for over 20 years. They are the only two fragrances I would use People recognize me by my Shalimar!!!

this scent mixed well with my moms body chemistry,on her it has a soft scent and recieves alot of compliments when wearing it.she came to visit and stayed for a couple of days and after leaving i still smelled her a pleasant scent ..this will always remind me of her.

Review of Shalimar
I love this fragrance, I have not used it in over a decade, however I do intend to treat myself to a bottle soon. My children have been sweet and gave me other scents from other French Perfumes that being said, one does not refuse a gift. I do intend to give myself a "special gift" and purchase possibly a gift set of Shalimar. I have wonderful memories of this fragrance. One memory that keeps close to my heart is, when my son was three, he would hug me, and always say "I love you Momy, you smell just like cookies".

Review of Shalimar
My friend wears this exclusively and so I have tried so hard to like it, but there is something very heavy, dull or smokey in it that overpowers the other scents. I prefer Shalimar Light.

Review of Shalimar
My mom is 96yrs. young and has been wearing Shalimar since she was in her early twenties. She passed this on to me when I was a teenager. I have been wearing it every day since. I hate to admit it, but I am now 60 yrs. old. I am not dressed unless I have on my Shalimar. I love it because it is not over bearing or obnoxious. I have had numerous compliments on it over the years. I once took my son to the doctor, and he asked me if I was wearing Shalimar. He bought it for his wife. I now have my husband by me some every Christmas. It is a special gift to me. I just wish I could also get it in a non spray bottle like I use to be able to. Love, love, love it. Please don't ever stop making Shalimar!!!!
