This fragrance for women was launched in 2000 as a spicy oriental scent intended for daytime use. The aroma opens strongly with top notes of sandalwood and coriander, followed by middle notes of resins and myrr and backed by a base of benzoin and vanilla that balance out and carry the upper notes as they slowly fade.

From the time I clicked the button from FragranceNet to purchase Ambre Sultan, it took 17 days to receive it in Australia from the USA. The amber base is potent and long lasting, but the floral notes in this perfume are just beautiful, I want to keep smelling my arm. This is a keeper and when it empties, I'll be back to buy it again.

SL's Ambre Sultan is a gorgeous, lush amber with herbaceous notes that give it unusual depth and texture. Deserves its reputation as a clssic.
