I've worn this for many many years. It's the BEST!!! Nothing else compares. When I wear it everyone says, "wow, you smell sooooooo good" !!! Don't ever stop making Opium!!

Review of Opium
I have been an Opium wearer for many years now.... until they changed it! They have changed the packaging AND they have now changed the scent! (my local pharmacy said they have had many complaints recently).... It does NOT last on the skin more than an hour or so and is NOT the same heady scent that it once was. Am now trying to find an OLD bottle of Opium to purchase - not the new one!

Review of Opium
I have been wearing Opium, since it hit the market in 1977. For 35years it has been and will always be my fragerance of choice. Tried others, and they just do not mix with my body chemestry. Yes you do need that certain chemestry to wear Opium, it is just not for anyone. I now live where I will have to order on line, a problem or hassle, I do not care, there is nothing like Opium, thank you YSL!!!!!

OPIUM the OLD slim bottle, is absolutely the best in the world, I too have soooo many compliments on it every time I would wear it. I love it love it, but.....................now the new one is NOT the same. It does not smell the same nor does it wear nor do I any longer get wonderful compliments on it. Why change a marvelous formula just for change sake? Please, Yves Saint Laurent...........go back to the old formula. I will not buy it any longer and that breaks my heart, unless it comes back like it was. Thank you Marlene

Review of Opium
Great perfume :) I have a list of favorite perfumes and this is one of them ... I use Opium, Hypnotic Poison, Dune, Aromatics Elixir, Youth Dew and Cinnabar ... all are very "oriental/woody tones but have lasting power and I always get compliments with all of the above perfumes ... Excellent pricing here too ...
