Introduced in 1995, Opium by Yves Saint Laurent is a men's fragrance that is tailor made for casual situations, from lunch with a friend to an evening at the pub. This cologne features a mix of ginger, cedar, vanilla and pepper that mix to create a fresh, lively scent with hints of basalm. Its unique combination of scents intriguingly complements your casual wear. No matter where you choose to take Opium, its intoxicating scent will ensure that you make an impression on those around you.
Review of Opium
YSL is phasing OUT the fabulous 1977 Opium eau de parfum (#121895) w/coriander, clove, bayleaf accented w/vetiver, amber & patchouli. The NEW bottle is NOT the same scent w/mandarin, bergamot, jasmine, carnation, patchouli & amber (very musky.) Tell YSL which you prefer & save the original!

Review of Opium
I have worn this fragrance since it came out and truly LOVE it! I have had many men and women both ask me what kind of perfume I was wearing. One man said that he wouldn't let his wife out the door if she smelled that good. I wear it everywhere--it last all day and into the night. A LOT more women would wear it if the price more reasonable. I

Review of Opium
I have worn Opium for 25 years. I don't wear anything else. I love OPIUM! I don't like the new packaging. The top falls off all the time. Please go back to the old beautiful packaging.

Review of Opium
This stuff is DYNAMITE in a bottle. I have worn them ALL over the years, went through the Polo/ Armani Gio fruity crap, tried Chanel Allure, but came back to this for two reasons: I like it best, and SO DO ALL THE LADIES...from hot young college gals to office ladies on the train. Without a doubt, this is the one to wear, and the only one that I never get tired of. Even if others weren't gushing with comments or inquiry, if I didn't like it, why should I wear it? which is what I got to asking with all but the Chanel Allure, which is decent but in no way in the same class as the almighty Opium Por Homme. It's good for work, after work, romantic evenings; it's uplifting and joyful in all seasons; PURE GOLD!

Review of Opium
I've used Opium for at least 25 years and no matter what else is spritzed on me, I always top it off with Opium. The "Summer Opium" is better for warmer weather (not quite as heavy)... but men and women always ask what I'm wearing. The lotion or cream has such a subtle soft aroma after a shower or just before sleeping. I highly recommend it... love it, love it.
