I have been using Opium for years. I always get lots of compliments on how good I smell. However, the new Opium is very different. No one ever notices the smell. Bring back the original ! Just like the old saying " If it is not broken don't fix it". YSL you had a great product and you had to go and mess it up. Please go back to the original scent, I love it.

I have been a faithful YSL Opium wearer since 1977. All other fragrances give me terrible headaches. Even my grandchildren notice that I don't smell like Gramma! Back to the headaches, I am BEYOND disappointed! Please, Please, Please give us the original formula, the beautiful original packaging, and bottling! Why must you mess with perfection??

Review of Opium
I've been looking for the Opium Body Cream to add to my collection. After reading all the reviews and hearing that you have changed the scent, I will not be ordering the body cream afterall. I received my first bottle from my husband and have been using Opium exclusively for an evening fragrance for over 25 years. I'm sorry that you feel it is necessary to take something so fabulous and destroy it just to make a few more $'s. I don't think you realize the following you had with Opium. It was exclusive! Please bring the original back!!

Review of Opium
I have included YSL Opium in my personal scent wardrobe since it was released in the late seventies - my favorite for elegant evening wear. I just finished a bottle & was devistated to read in the reviews of fellow consumers, that a new inferior formulation is now being offered by YSL. Although deeply saddened by this news, I am pleased to have been warned. YSL Mgmt, if you are listening, what you hear is the sound of a former Opium customer putting away her credit card without purchasing your product.
