The new Opium perfume is awful! I hate it and cannot travel with it. It does not even smell the same. I have used the original since 1981 and really hate this one. Since I am out of the original, I will not buy any more unless you return to the original scent.

I too have been wearing Opium for many years and cannot understand why YSL would want to change such a popular product. Let me know if they go back to the original otherwist, not interested.

I too have worn Opium for 30+ years. I agree the "new"version is no where as sexy as the original - in fact it has a peculiar odor on me - maybe my body chemistry, maybe theirs. Also the new packaging is horrible, especially for travel. I too have kept a "big" bottle at home and used the smaller slim version for travel. When I run out of my stash, I'll begin looking for a new fragrance - SAD!!!!

Please Please Please bring back the original Opium. The new one stinks! I have worn the orginal since its introduction. It's the only fragrance I wear and the new version just doesn't cut it.
