I love the change! Unlike some of these other reviews, I am still getting compliments and the scent is awesome. Thank you YSL for remaining #1 on my dresser and for growing with the changing times. I LOVE the scent.

I have faithfully worn opium for years and was most upset to see the packaging changed, to change the formula was appalling. I like other users will attempt to locate a small out of the way store that carries what I want. Shame on you Yves Saint Laurent You have joined the ranks of the deceitful.

Review of Opium
I was in the process of ordering the 3.3fl oz of Yves Saint Laurent Opium which I have used for about 30 years. I did not see the original bottle that I normally purchase. I have read all the comments from women like me that has been faithfully buying this product for years and now they are complaining that the new version "SUCKS". I guess I will have to look around some of the outlet to see if they are still caring the old version of Opium.

Like many others I have used Opium for years......and received compliments from men and women both on what a great scent it was. When I had recd the new bottle was not thrilled they had changed it but thought - ok I can deal with the change --- what I cant deal with is they changed the formula! Why is beyond me. As many have said before - if it isnt broken why fix it.... I now have to find a new fragance because the "new and not improved" Opium just isn't cutting it!
