This is perfect for a little romance. It's a unique white floral because there isn't the usual drydown to a musk or powdery finish. Joy retains its feminine floral scent from the first spritz to the last waft of fragrance. A true classic orginal.

I have loved this fragrance for years. When I first experieced it I was really too young to wear the very elegant fragrance, but I have loved Joy from the first time I smelled it.

Review of Joy
"Joy" by Jean Patou is one of my two favorite fragrances. Once Diana von Furstenburg sold "Tatiana", "Joy" is my only favortie scent. Have been using it since 1953 when I received it as a gift, but I wasn't happy about it. When I opened it, I spilled a good bit on the floor. I used a couple of facial tissues to mop up the spill and threw them into the waste basket. Left home. Returned many hours later and wondered what that wonderful fragrance was in my room. My nose led me to the waste basket. I took those tissues out and put them between the clothes in my dresser drawers. Yes, I still love it. If someone EVER brings back the ORIGINAL "Tatiana" scent, I will try it again.

Review of Joy
Thirty years ago a gentleman that I was dating purchased an 8 oz bottle from Paris for me. I was too young to appreciate the sophisticated deep sweet scent. I understand that this was one of Marilyn Monroe's favorite perfumes. I wish I hadn't squandered away the gift. I love this scent. I recommend it for formal evening wear or for that someone special.
