In response to "Written by Laura" Yes Chanel No 5 is a classic, but it is also a scent that does not smell the same on any two people. It is one of those that may not smell good on one person, but draws the attention of everyone on another. That is why I always wear Chanel No 5, because everyone wants to know what a lovely perfume I am wearing.

this is the only scent for me. I've been wearing this scent for about 10 years, and i'm only 33 years old. it is truly a scent for women of all ages. I always receive many compliments everytime i wear it.

I have worn Chanel #5 for 40 years and, even though I'm obviously now "mature", I can honestly say that at the very least every other day ALL THOSE YEARS wherever I was, someone commented on how wonderful it smelled. That includes friends, lovers, co-workers, husbands, kids, relatives, strangers - even fragrance counter salespeople! It is the ONLY fragrance to wear!

My first love in perfume -- way before I was old enough to wear it, and it still is today. As I grow older, I prefer soaps, lotions and powders. Chanel No. 5 is the queen of them all.

This is a really romantic, uncommon scent. I love it. It's a blend of flowers with almost a smokey (is that the right word) touch. Like the others, I say this scent is positively magical.
