A Drop d'Issey

Just like the name suggests, this is very fresh! Like the original, this flanker has the lilac. This one truly leans into the watery theme that you get from the bottle design. It smells watery whereas the original smelled creamy. This is a great one to wear when it is hot outside. To me it smells like what I’ve romanticized a summer rainy day to smell like (not what a rainy day actually smells like. IYKYK)

This has become one of my faves to wear to bed or on lazy days. The lilac definitely comes through, but it’s also very creamy. It smells like a nice lotion if I’m being honest, and I love that. I used to only be into gourmands, but I’m discovering what florals I like, and lilac is definitely on that list! Lasts pretty long on me too.

Every time I wear this scent I am either asked what perfume I am wearing or am told how nice I smell. I was recently stopped in a store and the lady tracked me down later to ask me the name so she could purchase. It’s a very clean smell that is not over powering or musky. It’s one of my favorites.
