Gabriele Strehle's "Strenesse" was a blind purchase based on many positive reviews and a description of the top, middle, and base notes. This is a well-loved and hard fragrance to find, so kudos to Fragrancenet for carrying it. I was most drawn to the amber, peach, and vanilla. This fresh/subtle scent is most appropriate for daytime and office wear. If you choose to wear this to the office and spray it on your pulse points, give it time to dry down to its soft amber/vanilla notes before walking into your building/office, particularly if you prefer to spray it on your clothes, rather than on your skin. It goes on sharp/strong initially. Some may find that this fragrance doesn't have as much staying power as they would like, so you may feel inclined to re-apply it at some point in the day. Honestly, it lasts at least 6 hours, so you might not smell it because you are used to it. *So if you must re-apply, only do so if you are outside or in the restroom and have at least 10-15 mins to give it time to dry down before you go back to your desk*. It is likely to aggravate those with migraines and allergies because it goes on strong when first sprayed. Overall, it took a couple of uses for me to appreciate its beauty but I like it.
