I miss the original scent!!! Why’d they change a good thing?? The perfume was great! Now you can only get it in tiny bottles. The rest are large bottles of toilette instead. Smells completely different! I’m aggravated and yet I haven’t given up the Red Door. I get compliments but the original filled the room and everyone came over to ask what it was. The only thing better now is the price but it’s cheaper because it’s not the original or perfume! Bring it back!!!
Oh, no, tell me they didn't?!?!? But, they DID. The "new" Red Door in the "new" bottle has changed! It is no longer the red powerhouse fragrance that stayed with you all day. It has changed, and not for the better. I detect more of a red rose smell (as opposed to a stronger, heavier, and darker rose de Mai smell of the original). The "new" Red Door is more floral than the original, and has lost that certain something that the original possessed. The original also had somewhat or a bitter orange undertone, which the "new" Red Door is lacking. The "new" Red Door wears now like a light eau de toilette, whereas the original Red Door wore as an eau de parfum even though it stated EDT on the bottle/box. Thank God I stocked up on the original (the bottle with the red arch cap) and purchased 12 bottles before they discontinued them. I had a hunch they weren't going to be around long since I kept seeing the new bottle design everywhere. I snatched up those old bottle designs as fast as I could because I knew they would become vintage very soon. Suffice it to say, the classic Red Door is no longer. Red Door is not what it was, and is now just another run-of-the-mill red rose fragrance. Test it at a store and you will see what I mean. Signed, sad about the discontinued original Red Door by Elizabeth Arden. I don't know whose bright idea it was to mess around with a classic fragrance, but they made a huge mistake and if they think the buying public won't notice the difference in the fragrance, they are downright wrong. Buyers WILL notice the difference as I did, and I am sure EA Fragrances will be getting numerous requests to bring back the original, in its original bottle and at its original strong concentration.
RED DOOR PERFUM, lo he usado desde que inició hasta la fecha, se me termina uno y compro el siguiente, me pongo en la mañana y aún en la noche lo traigo. me han preguntado cual es ? es grato.
