Dubai Amber is an addictive fragrance for both men and women that comes from the design house of Bond No 9. Launched in 2016, this fragrance opens with top notes of Saffron, Raspberry, Bergamot and Pink Pepper for an abundant start. The middle is filled with fragrance from Gurjan Balsam, Rose, Jasmine and Guaiac wood. At the base are crisp notes from Amber, Vanilla and Cedar for a closure that is intense.

This is the second worst of the Dubai scents, beat out only by Black Sapphire. The initial opening was almost unbearable. It smelled like burning plastic and pepper, and that smell lasted a good 5 minutes. Afterwards, that initial chemical smell started to subside and the strong spiciness of pepper emerged...perhaps this was the pink pepper. After 30 minutes, I began to smell some amber and some sweetness but that really strong peppery spiciness continued to be thoroughly mixed into the fragrance development. I think this might be suitable for a guy but I wouldn't want to smell it on my guy. The only upside...it lasts a long time, which is an upside only of you like the sent.
