Launched in 1914, this perfume opens with refreshing top notes from clary sage, green note, mint and fennel, while the heart is filled with note from fern, clover, angelica, mastic, violet leaf, oakmoss and galbanum, while the base is filled with notes from soil tincture, oakmoss, vetiver, chestnut, resins, pine tree needles, leather and labdanum.

I had heard about Oriza L. Legrand's CHYPRE MOUSSE from several "youtubers". It is something that kinda grows on you . . . and a compliment getter. It is definitely unique and unusual. Smells similar to a humid green backyard garden, with ferns, angelica, pine, mushrooms, mint, clary sage and fresh honey. The bottle is beautiful too!

What a lovely and strange scent this is. This smells like a minty, mushroomy, loamy forest floor - very earthy, with some muted florals and a humid feel, like wet leaves. This is weird enough that it won't be for everyone, but it is very evocative and well done. Great performance to boot, lasts all day.
