The scent opens with spicy-woody notes of Oud and Pepper that is intoxicating right at the start. The middle combines sweet and delicate notes of Rose, Saffron and Cumin for a warm heart. The unisexual fragrance then moves to a spellbinding base with an arrangement of notes from Sandalwood, Vetiver and Orris Root.

Trying to figure out which Montale will be my signature scent. This one is VERY strong, almost headache inducing. Once it drys down it is nicer, lasts on your clothes until you wash. Ok but not my favorite.

I like it but it is very strong. Can be headache inducing. May need to sit for a while. Would I purchase again. No? Getting into Montale trying to figure out my “scent”.

Comes on way too strong for me personally. One spray is more than enough to have me fearing walking out the door due to how strong it seems to be.. The scent is so sweet its overbearing and sort of reminds me of when you open a tea packet and pour the powder and some gets in your mouth or something.. really strong and chemically, kind of off-putting.

Montale Red Aoud is very safe as far as ouds go. Sweet and slightly spicy, with a linear, even drydown. Neither the oud, nor the rose are overpowering in any way. Very nice.
