The warm, spicy and intoxicating fragrance of Coffee Break is a charismatic scent for women and men. Launched in 2019, this perfume comes from the design house of Maison Martin Margiela. At the start are charismatic hints from patchouli, orange blossom and pepper. The heart is sensational with notes from milk, tonka bean, nagarmotha, siam benzoin, coffee and lavender, while the base is blended with appealing hints from cedar, vetiver and vanilla.

Top notes are powdery/clean but the dry down has a bit of (dry) sweetness to it. It’s not ooey-gooey/cloying/sticky sweet. Think lavender haze drifting out the open door of a coffee shop on a temperate day. Definitely not offensive. Comfortable/casual everyday scent. Not tons of projection and not tons of longevity, but I enjoy re-spraying throughout the day and reliving the sensory experience over and over again! I also like that I don’t have to be too careful about over-spraying.
