Lattafa Pride Masa: A Wild Rollercoaster (Don't Judge the Opening!) I’m going to be completely honest—when I first sprayed Masa, I was ready to throw it in the trash. The opening was an absolute nightmare for me. The combination of intense black pepper and ginger hit my skin chemistry the wrong way, creating a pungent, sweaty "body odor" vibe that was far from the freshness I expected. But do not judge this fragrance by its first 20 minutes. Once the aggressive, spicy opening burns off, Masa undergoes an incredible transformation. The dry-down is where the magic happens. It shifts into a much smoother, cleaner, and pleasant scent as the fruitier notes (like mango and coconut) and the woody base finally take over. It is a beastly performer, so if you can survive the harsh, sweaty opening, the beautiful dry-down makes it worth the wait. Just give it time to settle on your skin!
