Well, I started wearing Creed in my twenties when I worked in Paris (1980's). My first Creed was Chevrefeuille. Then I went to Green Irish Tweed. Then for almost 10 years it was Tabarome. Finally, tried Aventus and for almost 8 years that was it. So, when my new bottle broke in my luggage (wanted to cry), I read the reviews and just this week received a bottle of Royal Oud (also another bottle of Aventus). I am trying to like the Oud. When I wore Aventus, people literally stopped me in the streets, hospital, restaurants etc. asking what I was wearing. Women loved it. Now trying to get used to the Royal Oud, I asked my daughter (who is French/American and works for the US Senate, so very sophisticated 24 year old) this morning what she thought. She said dad "kinda an old man's sent." Wow. She is brutally honest. I do like it, but this puts a different spin on it. Haven't received any complements yet, but just adjusting to it. What are you thoughts?

Creed Royal Oud is lovely. I am picky about fragrances, as I'd rather smell like nothing than cheap chemicals. Royal Oud's opening is sweet, rich, warm, and woodsy. It settles into woods and spice as it dries down. I was skeptical as this was my first time purchasing creed fragrances outside of a boutique, but Fragrancenet did me right. These are genuine, the one I got was a 1.7oz from 2016 (so it is a old batch). Still smells great. Wear this and you'll smell better than most people who wear fragrances.

Creed Royal OUD Don't wait, buy this scent. This is a wonderful scent to wear. I put this on and can't quit smelling it. Last all day and then some. Next morning you can still smell it on your skin.
