I'm reading these reviews and really don't understand the ratings. This is a beautiful perfume - no it isn't in your face gardenia + but it is a soft white floral that does waft in the air long after spraying. I love it!

It is a beautiful gardenia flower perfume. So exquisitely done. Soft yet lasting. This with Ellie Saab Gardenia Essence is a gardenia bomb. Only get this if you like white florals in your perfume.

Van Cleef and Arpels Gardenia Petal. If you are looking for a perfume that smells like Gardenia, this is NOT it. I've been looking for a true gardenia perfume for many years and the closest I came was made by a shampoo company. Of course they discontinued it. Kai is what i am wearing now. It is close, and i like it, but the fragrance fades fast. So the search continues.
