The L?Air Du Temps Nina Ricci Eau De Toilette radiates an old-time charm. With a pretty bottle featuring white dove figurines, this warm and spicy fragrance was introduced in 1948. It opens with a spicy whiff of Carnation well-supported by Bergamot, Rose, Jasmine, and Rosewood. A powdery hint of Iris and Violet blends with woodsy notes Sandal and Cedar at the heart for a tantalizing effect on the senses. My first sample came at a large department store and mall. Favorite parking space was between favorite boutique and the entry leading past women's make-up and fragrances. Interrnational perfumereries lined the aisles of women's department. My custom was to wear one sample and another sprayed on a fine velum card as I shopped the mall. As I shopped, both scents mellowed. L'Air Du Temps was the first of my favorites of Nina Ricci. A subtitle scent I placed on several pulse points for a personal up-lift when needed. Of course it became a date favorite as well. As a nurse I was horribly maligned when church lady in her Sunday finest got on the elevator for 12 of the 14 floors I would share. .Apparently she had refreshed her perfume in the car with half a bottle. A gardenia fragrance on list of future possible choices. No longer! By the 4th floor I could barely breathe. My wise choice of L'Air du Temp was further reinforced by a male patient. Holding him securely to transfer him into a chair, his face touched my shoulder. Upon sitting and catching his breathe, he asked what I was wearing saying I smelled wonderful. A cousin did the same when we hugged good-bye. She became a forever fan too.

This was my late mom’s signature scent. I don’t buy this often because it’s hard to find but when I do, I always spray a toast to her.

It's a beautiful softly floral scent. It stays fairly close to the skin. I find it doesn't last on me as long as I would like.

I have been using L'Air Du Temps since I was 17 and now im 70. Clean fragrance and I get compliments on it all the time. Hard to find in the stores now. Glad I was able to get more here.

I truly love this scent. I first started wearing it about 35 years ago when a temp walked past me with it on, and I've been hooked ever since. Every now and then I'll try another scent, just to see what's out there, but ALWAYS come back to L'Air du Temps by Nina Ricci. It is always my go-to gift suggestion if anyone wants to buy me something. Honestly, I would buy it by the barrel and bathe in it if I could,
