I typically use Les Jardins series by Jean-Claude Ellena. This is the first time I tried Christine Nagel and I'm glad it is as wearable as Les Jardins. Because of the "ocean/blue" concept in description, I was worried it would carry the calone smell which I absolutely cannot stand. But it didn't. In fact, it didn't remind me of ocean or water at all. It smelled more like sitting next to a window on a beautiful morning looking at the shoreline, with the ocean some distance away. Definitely a summer scent. For me the projection and staying power are fine, I get about 3 hours before turning faint. It is clean without being musky, not very woody at all (comparing to Bvlgari Wood Essense) and not overly citrusy or flowery either. Maybe a slight soap-like undertone? Overall I like this fragrance and plan to wear it alternatively with other Hermes Garden series.
