The soft, woody and floral fragrance of Quatre en Bleu is an enriching scent for women from the house of Boucheron. At the beginning of this 2021 scent are hints from lemon, mandarin orange and bergamot. The notes of tuberose, rose and Egyptian jasmine fills the heart, while the base comprises of notes from musk, sandalwood and akigalawood.

Sample arrived in good order. This was a really unusual fragrance. It was a mature and accomplished scent, but with enough freshness to avoid seeming too perfume-y or old fashioned. The drydown smelled a bit peppery to me, almost unisex, but still pleasant. Not a favourite, but really interesting, and worth testing for sure.
