Zafar by Xerjoff is an amber woody fragrance for women and men, launched in 2012. It opens with top notes of black pepper, rose, and green apple, offering a dry, spicy beginning. The heart features oud, neroli, and white flowers, creating a rich and floral core. The fragrance settles into strong base notes of musk, incense, cedar, and Haitian vetiver, making for a seductive dry down.

Worth it. It’s one of Xerjoff’s oudy-est fragrances, but after about an hour is lays low to the skin. There ‘s not a hint of barnyard in here. It’s more of an animalic, resinous oud than a Hindi. Well done, well blended, I love it so much I want to try another one of their oud-forward frags.
