Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo – Fico di Amalfi is a fruity floral scent for women and men. Launched in 2006, this scent comes from the design house of Acqua di Parma. The fragrance opens with notes from Bergamot, Citron, Grapefruit and Lemon. The heart is soothing with notes from Jasmine, Pink Pepper and Fig Nectar. The base is seductive with hints from Cedar, Fig Tree and Benzoin.

Tried the .27oz travel size, and was very pleasantly surprised. The best way I can think of to describe it as a sweet citrus, with a clean (yet somehow earthy?) base. I'd peg it as a "special occasion" wear for me, as i favor lighter "blue" fragrances for daily wear (Dolce & Gabbana's Light blue EDP is my current fave). What amazed me the most is how the fig notes blended seamlessly with the citrus- I was expecting the citrus notes to overpower everything else, but that wasn't the case here. Definitely going to get a larger bottle!
