Awesome 90s aquatic, so much better than expected. I wore this quite a bit in the 90s and had fond memories, but I was shocked to find this stuff holds up even today. For hardly any money at all, you get a deep vintage bottle from the early 90s - and this stuff is STRONG. We're talking all day performance from a single spray, and it's gorgeous. Herbal, aquatic, blue/green vibes (in the 90s sense), and the seaweed accord is mild, similar to something like Polo Sport but honestly much better. Probably the best 90s aquatic I've tried, much more interesting than stuff like Cool Water. And you cannot beat that price! Just buy it.

I bought this as a filler scent because the unboxed price was so good. I respect that traditional French designer fragrances are generally very well conceived and usually very delightful to wear, often refreshing and surprisingly individual. I had no idea just how amazing is this older Guy Laroche mens fragrance. It comes out heavily spicy, woody and sweet and Asian influenced like fine Chinese or Thai herbal incense. A great enjoyable cologne surprise to me and thoroughly enjoyable. Moderately long lasting and quiet a good buy!

I just finished trying this perfume, and the top notes are indeed sharp and medicinal. I'm still waiting for the flavor to come out afterwards.
