This is the 2023 version of the fragrance, and I found it enjoyable, but a bit harsher and citrusy compared with the 2004 OG, which leans more sweet, rich, and special. The 2023 EDT version smells really good, but the dry-down loses some of the Code magic, and isn't a version I'll be paying to own. More than anything, though, the issue with the 2023 EDT is the very poor longevity. It becomes a skin scent very quickly.

Armani really screwed up when they discontinued Armani Mania! Best one that they had and replacing it with Armani Code that really do not smell that good is an epic five alarm screw up. Armani should bring back Armani Mania or other companies should make something that smells like Armani Mania.
