Keep a small sandwich bag in your purse for fragrance touch-ups. Simply spray frangrance on a cotton ball and seal inside the plastic bag. This allows for quick touch ups without having to carry the bottle with you inside your purse.
This is something I love to do when i want to relax or get ready for a night out or even in! ok i love to do this all the time! lol I take a fragrance that i love, i have so many! If im taking a cool shower i pick a cool fragrance, if im taking a hot shower i will pick a warm fragrance. When i undress for my shower or bath, i will spray the perfume on my arms and also on my legs and rub it in, just a few sprays usually do the trick. I will spray a light mist of the scent in my hair also. Then as i let the water hit me in the shower the scent comes alive! Even when your shampooing, shaving etc, you can smell the scent and it is so relaxing! its a nice way to get a cheap aromatherapy type treatment right in your own shower with your own favorite scents! Its so nice, and hey its worth a try, just take your favorite scent or maybe one that you dont use a whole lot and try it out its alot of fun! take care!
This is for the gentlemen...if you are going out for the night and don`t want to pour a whole bottle of your cologne on yourself, just use this trick I have for years and years....I am old school and carry a handkerchief and always have a pocket silk in the breast pocket of my suit, just spray either the pocket silk or the hanky and keep them in place and your fragrance will last the entire night! and if your lady borrows your hanky, she will be reminded of you! it is an easy and affordable way of making your scent last all night and saves you money at the same time!
after washing and conditioning your hair, rub some perfume into your palms and massage the perfume into your hair, it will leave a lingering smell to compliment the perfume on the rest of your body.
I am sure you all have heard of layering your fragrance (using the bath gel, the lotion, the body cream, the bath powder and the cologne to make the fragrance last all day, but if that isn't within your budget, to get the most bang for your buck always remember to buy the body cream and then add to it. After your shower or your bath, while still wet, generously apply the body cream of your favorite fragrance all over your body. Ok heres another fragrance tip. I love putting natural ingredients into my beauty regemine! Like take for instance a mayonaise wrap for your hair. It makes it super shiny and silky but the smell is god awful! So what i do is whenever i find that something i am going to put on, say the mixture of mayo and egg is not so wonderful smelling i will spray some of my favorite perfume into the mix, then when im walking around for one i wont smell like macaroni salad and two when i rinse it off i will smell my perfume and not my homemade hair product! lol take care! remember every woman deserves to pamper herself! so what are you waiting for!
Try putting sea salt,epsom salt and heavy whipping cream (1pint at least)and some of your favorite fragrance into the tub. Fill the tub with water as warm as you can possibly stand it. Get in and stay their till the water turns cool you will be totally relaxed and have very soft skin and smell as beautiful as your favorite fragrance. It is a great destresser and does not cost a lot of money. Just keep stress on the other side of the bathroom door. You can also light some candles to enhance the experience.
When shaving legs and under arms use any cream rinse. It prevents cuts and scrapes and your skin will feel soft. Rinse after shaving.
Best tip I have ever gotten by my Mom, spritz some perfume on my hairbrush and brush my hair. The scent stays with you all day long. I have been doing this for almost 20years.
