If you want your scent to really stay with you all day long, may I suggest that you "layer" it, as in, the lotion, then your perfume, and then the perfumed powder. It really works. the scent you love is then deep, and lasting on your skin. Honest.

To add fragrance to linens and clothes, I use my favorite scented votives. I leave the plastic wrapper on most of the candle, and open it only in a one or two places in order to protect clothes from the oil. When you pull something out of the drawers to wear, it has a lovely light fragrance, one that isn't heavy enough to interfere with your perfume, but enough to have a nice, fresh scent. This is also a neat trick in the linen closet between sheets and towels. Winter time I apply tiny drops of scented oils along door jams, under bannisters. It layers a pleasant scent, but isn't overpowering. It helps lift the mood when the intense fragrance of autumn has deserted us and we are left with the smell of granite, snow and evergreens.

The greatest tip I received and believe from experience is a little goes a long ways... the most effect spot to spray is the middle of your lower back, heat travels up.... as you walk by, stand in line, or sit... not only is the body temperature rising, so is your signature scent! 95% of the time, both men & women comment after I started to apply this method. This is all day AM to PM without reapplying.

I don't know if anyone has experienced this but have you ever bought your favorite fragrance in a faulty bottle? Don't throw away that bottle just yet! My tip is to use the old fashioned can opener with the corkscrew to pry open the sealed bottom part of the nozzle & carefully pour the fragrance into an atomizer or if u have a spare plastic mini spray bottle,better yet,and then throw away the faulty bottle. Easy to use,& money saved. Hope that helps.
