We all have a special trick we use when applying makeup or caring for our hair. Some of us line our drawers with scented paper, still others rave about the benefits of homemade sugar scrubs. Share your tip with us today!

Women normally apply perfume on the wrists and either rub together or dap the wrists together. Don't; you're actually breaking up molecules, which will prevent the scent from lasting as long. DO: apply behind the ears, base of neck, behind knees (or back of legs); specifically, places where a pulse can be read. The blood flow in these areas will increase the scent's aroma. And remember, in most cases, if you can smell the fragrance, you may have put on a bit much.

Spray you fragrance into damp hair before you style. After you style run the "cool down" button over your whole head helpset the cuticle of the hair to lay flatter. Hair absorbes scent more then skin. Thank you Michele

When you moisturize your face, do not forget to make a little "moustache" of your cream or lotion above your upper lip, which is an area a lot of women forget to moisturize. Do not forget your ears either. A well moisturized face and dry looking ears do not match. Just rub the excess over the ears.

To make your fragrances last longer, place a drop of that fragrance's body lotion on your pulse points. Spray your fragrance on the body lotion. Your scent will last longer.

Smear a tiny amount of Vaseline on all your body's pulse points or where you normally place your favorite scent before you actually put your perfume of cologne on. This will keep the scent on you for so much longer than it normally would.

When spraying your fragrance, spray in directly in front of you, then walk through it. This distributes the fragrance alll over you instead of just in places.

I've learned that you can take a fragrance that doesn't seem to last terribly long on your skin, and spritz just a bit in your hair to make it last longer. It seems to keep the scent fresh because you're not sweating it away, and it doesn't lose potency. While I do still spray my perfume on my skin, I also make sure to spritz some in the air and shake my hair through it. Just a helpful tip for those who seem to lose the potency of their scent too quickly.

After you apply your lipstick use your index or whatever finger and put your finger in your mouth and put your lips around your finger and pull out your finger while your lips are firmly around finger. Wash your hands. Any excess that comes off won't end up on your teeth.

since I like to wear so many different fragrances, I have found that the body creams and lotions are usually much cheaper, but I purchase them because you get the benefit of the good smelly, plus the moisturizing effects. Sometimes when my budget is really tight, I purchase some unscented lotion/cream from the drugstore, spray my perfume into it, shake, and voila! You have your good smell for a while longer and a moisturizer all in one.
